Lead us from darkness to Light
Shri Aurobindo Nethralaya is focused on providing the highest quality & value for money eye care services and has emerged as the most preferred recognized eye care facility. A movement started 20 years ago by Dr Anand Saxena, our network has cumulatively performed over 1 million vision restoring surgeries and today we are amongst the largest providers of eye care in the Chhattisgarh State.
In the year 1998, Dr. Anand Saxena founded Shri Aurobindo Nethralaya (SAMRC) with a motto to eradicate blindness and make this world a beautiful place to those who are still in darkness. They realized the necessity of a team, an organization to overcome the insurmountable load of blindness in our country. Today, we are a leading non-profit organization dedicated to provide eye-care and rehabilitate people of all ages suffering from ophthalmic problems. In this journey, Shri Aurobindo Nethralaya (SAMRC) has proved itself as one of the best tertiary eye care institute in South Eastern India.
In the year 2001, Shri Aurobindo Nethralaya (SAMRC) used to serve only 25 to 50 OPD where as in 2016 it inaugurated 3 storied building to reach out more OPD. We converted our first building into IPD department generating 150-200 patients per day with 10-25 patients in IPD per day .
Now, in current years we have served around 300 OPD with 25-45 IPD per day including outreach patients.
Shri Aurobindo Nethralaya (SAMRC) strength lies in its human resources; we have a self driven team of passionate, skilled and efficient Ophthalmologists, Optometrists, dedicated nurses and staffs. Beside these we have a state-of-the-art infrastructure which complies with the Latest International Standards.
